Programming Daylight Savings

The controller needs to be correctly configured with the appropriate daylight savings settings for the region it is operating in.

By default the system provides records for Australia, New Zealand, North America, and UK/Europe. If the controller is located in a different region with daylight savings, you can program a new record.

Creating a Daylight Savings Record

  1. Navigate to Programming | Daylight Savings and click Add to create a daylight savings record for the controller's region.
  2. Enter a Name which identifies the relevant region.
  3. Customize the Name (Second Language) if required.
  4. Enter the required settings:

    • Start Day: The day when daylight savings begins, i.e. the clock rolls forward one hour. This is based on a day of the week (e.g. the first Sunday).
    • Start Month: The month when daylight savings begins.
    • End Day: The day when daylight savings ends, i.e. the clock rolls back one hour. This is based on a day of the week (e.g. the last Sunday).
    • End Month: The month when daylight savings ends.
  5. Click Create.

Configuring the Controller Time Settings

  1. Navigate to Controller Records | Controllers and select the controller record.
  2. Scroll down to the Time setting and click Edit.
  3. Ensure that the Time Zone setting is correct.
  4. Under Daylight Savings, click No Daylight Savings selected.

  5. Select the daylight savings record to assign to the controller, then click Select.
  6. Click Save to apply the changes.
